Dr. Hamad

Dr. Hamad’s journey to becoming the caring, dedicated, and experienced dentist he is today began in his home country of Syria. After obtaining his bachelor’s degree in dental medicine from Damascus University, he moved to the United States, enrolled in Boston University, and graduated with high honors with his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Today, he maintains active memberships with several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society, and he is a certified Invisalign provider! Ultimately, his goal is to use everything he has learned throughout his career to provide each and every patient with the comprehensive, custom, and caring dentistry they deserve.

After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Rafla earned his Certificate of Specialty training. Now, he is a highly skilled periodontist with over 30 years of experience! In that time, he has completed 30,000 surgical dental implant placements, lectured as a Diplomat of the International College of Oral Implantologists, and taught at Harvard School of Dental Medicine – all while completing continuing education and advanced training himself.
